Mix together…

A tough-cookie media agent who's clawed her way to the top, and a con-man who wants to open a cookery school. Add in a washed-up celebrity chef whose career needs re-building…
Flavour with…
An aging rock star fresh from rehab, and a Sloane Ranger food writer who gets her own TV show…
Bring to the boil…
At a Gourmet Food Festival, in Ireland, where anything goes!
When media agent Hilary Hargreaves travels to Ireland to look at a campaign for a new cookery school, she meets a blast from her past - the romantic but feckless chef Mickey Lloyd, who is hell-bent on resurrecting his flagging career. Her tough demeanour is rocked as it becomes apparent Mickey's intentions involve more than a stint behind a stove in his quest to pursue her. But as plans for the school gain momentum, she realises that she's developing more than a passing interest in reformed alcoholic Long Tom Hendry, who owns the crumbling old mansion where the school will be homed. Hilary has many ingredients to juggle with her demanding client list - which looks set to boil over if she doesn't keep control. From London's bustling Soho, to Southern Ireland and the sunny shores of the Caribbean, has Hilary got too much on her plate and is she really prepared to risk it all for love?

Verdict

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it  -A Wonderful & Well Deserved 5 Star rating!
What a splendid read once again by Caroline James! I Loved Caroline's First Book Coffee, Tea, The Gypsy & me that had me giggling all the way through and Caroline James was one of the first book reviews I did and I am so grateful to be part of her book tour for her second book So You Think You're A Celebrity...Chef? today!. Thank you Caroline for believing in me.

So You Think You're A Celebrity....Chef? well where do i start? It is a fantastic read that will have you giggling along with Media Agent Hilary Hargreaves and her two assistants Heidi & Bob. I loved all of the book I was in stitches most of it as I could definitely see myself acting the same way Hilary did, was very comical.
Hilary Hargreaves comes across a straight forward no messing kind of woman and acts as though she doesn't want a man as her career is more important and she loves for business to strive in its potential even if you do get some very annoying clients who won't do as they are told.
But Hilary's life comes across a blast from the past Mickey Lloyd a romantic but reckless chef who is desperate for his career get back on track..but is he hoping to win Hilary's heart back too at the same?

I just loved the book and all the characters apart from Lenny, he was just an ass and I was glad what he got coming to him! Not going to say more as don't want to spoil the story.
Caroline James has written a perfect book once again and with the style of writing so easy to follow and get hooked in with the characters I feel this book can do superb and want every one to read it!
The mention of Chocolate Brownies now always gets me mouth watering...Caroline James! lol.

I did have some tissues with me at one stage in the book but then I couldn't help but smile towards the end aswell :)
This book is definitely one not to miss because if your looking for an easy read with plenty of laughs then So You Think You're A Celebrity...Chef? is the perfect book for you.
